Description:

Pencil making tool and the following accessories:

- router bit for the half circle profile to house the lead

- 2 leather pads for middle support when using soft woods where flexing during planing can occur. As a quick note on the use of these pads, the thinner black leather pad can be used for this support at the beginning of the process when the pencil blank is larger, and the thicker brown leather pad can be used for support at the end when the pencil blank is thinner.

- Aluminum set-up blank for dimensioning and routing pencil starting blanks

The use of this system can be seen in this video, but please note that since this video I have upgraded the tailstock from a threaded rod to spring, which is quicker to use and does not loosen when the pencil is rotated:
